My name is David Paltanavich, and I am Carol’s Senior Living Advisor in Palm Beach and Broward counties. The picture at the left is of my Dad and me back when I was a young boy. We had many great times together. It was a big challenge finding care for him when he later became sick.

Many years ago I heard someone say “You can’t understand someone’s experience until you have walked a thousand miles in their shoes.” I found that saying especially true when I had to make decisions about the care of my ailing Dad. The people who helped me the most in that time were those that knew what it was like to care for a loved one.

As an IT project manager, I discovered that I had a special gift for bringing people together. I finally realized, after twenty years in this field, it was time to make a change and help others deal with one of the most difficult decisions they would ever have to make.

I chose to work with Carol because she understands the difficulties of finding care for a loved one and can help families based upon her experience. We understand what you are going through because we have faced similar circumstances.

I have lived in the Boca Raton area for most of my adult life. I enjoy living in south Florida because of the nice weather and the variety of activities that are available. I am passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. I am active in my church and worked with seniors for many years as an adult Sunday school teacher. I also help people improve their communication and leadership skills through my involvement with Toastmasters.
